Yuva Nidhi Self Declaration (March 2025) Submit at Seva Sindhu Services Portal

Students who have successfully registered for the Yuva Nidhi Scheme (a monthly unemployment allowance scheme) under the Skill Development Entrepreneurship and Livelihood Department are required to submit a self declaration once every three months to confirm their employment status to the government. Below, we have provided complete details on what this self declaration is, how to submit it, why it is necessary, and solutions to common issues students face while submitting the self declaration through the Seva Sindhu Services portal.

What is the Yuva Nidhi Self Declaration & Why Do You Need to Submit It?

The Yuva Nidhi Self Declaration is a process where beneficiaries confirm their employment status to the government once every three months (previously every month). This ensures they remain eligible for the unemployment allowance provided under the Yuva Nidhi Scheme. This process is facilitated through the Seva Sindhu Services portal.

The government relies entirely on beneficiaries to report their current employment status. If you wish to receive the unemployment allowance, you must submit the self declaration and confirm your employment status. Only after submission the amount will be processed through Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT) and credited to your bank account. Therefore, submitting the self declaration is mandatory to receive financial assistance until you get employed or the scheme term ends (i.e., 2 years), whichever occurs earlier.

Aadhaar Authentication Issue:

If you are facing an Aadhaar authentication issue, it means there is a server problem either in the Karnataka DBT (e-KYC Service) portal or the UIDAI portal. Please wait for some time and try again.

OTP Not Received Issue:

If you do not receive the OTP during the Aadhaar authentication process, it could be due to one of the following reasons:

  1. Your mobile number is not linked with Aadhaar.
  2. There is a server issue on the UIDAI portal.

Ensure that your mobile number is linked with Aadhaar. If it is linked, wait for some time and try again.

Details Not Fetching Issue:

After completing Aadhaar authentication, some students may face an issue where their application data (such as the Yuva Nidhi Registration Application Reference Number & Provisional Degree/Diploma Certificate Registration Number) is not being fetched. This could be due to:

  1. You have not yet completed 180 days from the date of result announcement.
  2. Your application is still pending with DEEO/DDPO/DDPU for verification.

Solution:

  • If 180 days have not yet passed since your result was declared, you need to wait until this period is completed.
