Step 2: Once logged in, go to the Apply for Services menu and click “View All Available Services“. Search for Police Verification Certificate For Job Verification and click on the application link displayed.

Step 3: In the application form, select the required service based on your employer’s requirement:

• Antecedent Only: Select this option, If your employer has requested only a criminal background check.
• Antecedent and Address: Select this option, If your employer has asked for both a criminal background check and address verification.

After selecting the service type, the applicable fee will be displayed on the screen.

Step 4: Your name will be auto filled as per your Aadhaar details. Upload your photograph and enter your personal information, including (Date of birth, Father’s/Husband’s name, Nationality, Purpose of requesting the certificate) and then, Select the Period of Stay (From and To) at your current address.

Step 5: Fill out your present address where you are currently staying and select the nearby local police station from the dropdown menu.

Step 6: If your Permanent Address is the same as your Present Address, select Yes. Otherwise, select No and fill out your permanent address details, including the pincode and the nearest police station.

Step 7: Read the declaration carefully and accept it. Fill out the captcha and click the Submit button.

Step 8: A preview of your application will be displayed. Click on “Attach Annexure” and upload the required documents (such as Aadhaar Card, Photograph, and Reference Letter) in the prescribed format, or directly scan the documents using a printer.

Then, click on “Save Annexure“.

Step 1: Log in to the Seva Sindhu portal and, in the login dashboard, select the “Track Application Status” option under the View Status of Application.

Step 2: Enter your Police Verification Certificate application reference or acknowledgment number generated in the Seva Sindhu portal, which starts with “PO” (e.g., PO002XXXXXX). Click Get Data to fetch the status.

Step 3: Under Current Status, the status of your application will be displayed as “Delivered”. Click on it.

If the final task, “Signature by verified authority” is marked as (completed or E-sign the document), an option to download the certificate with the title Verification Certificate will appear under the Issued Documents table row.

Step 4: Click on the Verification Certificate link, and then click Download Certificate to download your Police Verification Certificate, which is usually valid for one year.
