How to Apply for the Gruhalakshmi Scheme

The Gruhalakshmi Scheme provides a simple application process through both online and offline modes. Women listed as the head of the family in the ration card can register for free using the steps below:

Online Process

Step 1: Open the Seva Sindhu Portal designed specifically for the Gruhalakshmi Scheme and sign in using the login details issued by the Seva Sindhu team or your agency, such as Grama One or Karnataka One.

Step 2: Choose your preferred language (Kannada or English) to proceed with filling out the application.

Step 3: Enter the Aadhaar number of the female head of the household, then enter the ration card number (Antyodaya, BPL, or APL) and click “Get Details”.

Step 4: Provide the NPCI enabled bank account number, IFSC code, and branch details. Ensure that the account is active and belongs to the applicant to avoid application rejection.

Step 5: Review all the entered details, submit the application, and save or print the sanction letter for future reference.

Offline Process

• Visit the nearest government authorized agency (Karnataka One, Grama One, Bangalore One, Bapuji Seva Kendra, or Seva Sindhu).

Method 1: Offline Status Tracking

• Visit the nearest Karnataka One, Bangalore One, Grama One, or Seva Sindhu center.
• Provide your registration ID or ration card details to the staff.
• The staff will check and inform you about the latest status of your application.

Method 2: Status Tracking via SMS

• Open the messaging app on your phone.
• Send an SMS with your ration card number to 8277000555 or 8147500500.
• You will receive an SMS reply with the current status of your application.
